For 30 years, GRIOT Circle has created a place where LGBTQIA+ elders of color are seen, respected, supported, and connected to community. Our new 2025 Impact Report shows what that commitment looked like over the past year and the difference it continues to make in the lives of our members.

In 2025, GRIOT Circle served more than 400 older adults through over 743 health, wellness, educational, cultural, and social activities.  We expanded in-person programming in our new home at 25 Flatbush Avenue, revitalized our Buddy-2-Buddy peer-care program, strengthened opportunities for members to advocate on issues affecting their lives, and worked with more than 25 community partners.

GRIOT’s programs provide LGBTQIA+ elders of color with opportunities to strengthen their health and well-being, build meaningful relationships, continue learning, care for one another, and have a voice in the decisions that affect their lives.  Together, these programs create the strong, affirming community at the heart of GRIOT Circle.

We invite you to read our 2025 Impact Report and learn more about what our members, staff, Board, partners, and supporters made possible.
