Katherine Acey is a highly respected activist, best known for her expertise and commitment to LGBTIQ and social justice feminist activism and philanthropy.
She is currently a Senior Activist Fellow at the Barnard Center for Research for Women working on issues of aging and multigenerational relationships. Acey served for more than two decades as the Executive Director of the Astraea Lesbian Foundation for Justice.
Acey received a BA in sociology from Daemen College and a MS in Social Work from Columbia University.
