Felicia Holley has been a member of GRIOT Circle for over 5 years. She is a retired elementary teacher and worked as an administrative supervisor at Solomon Brothers and Alston and Bird respectively.
Felicia has a long history of volunteerism. Throughout her life she has volunteered in many different capacities. They include, but are not limited to; serving as a Girl Scout leader for 15 years, tutoring elementary and intermediate students, assisting foster youth find employment and housing and assisting with special events at Gay Men’s Health Crisis. She is also very active in her church. She is involved with the Mother Board, Hospitality, the Women’s Ministry, the Choir and the Outreach Program.
Felicia volunteers a minimum of 30 hours per week at GRIOT Circle. Her volunteerism at GRIOT consists of assisting with giving out daily lunches, conducting monthly trainings on Medicare Rights, speaking on national and local panels on behalf of the organization, sitting on the Events Committee and assisting staff with multiple administrative tasks. In 2017, Community Service Society’s Retired and Senior Volunteer Program honored her with the prestigious Volunteer of the Year Award.
