ABOUT US

27 years ago, the founders created GRIOT (Gay Reunion In Our Time) Circle to serve the critical needs of LGBTQ+ elders of color.  We remain dedicated to the original intention. In that same spirit of our founders, we are honoring those who truly work on behalf of our communities, continually speaking up and out against injustices and oppressions, and for a world of equity, dignity, and respect.

This year we need you more than ever. GRIOT Circle places the well-being of our elders in the forefront as we continue to offer a rich array of innovative virtual & in-person programs, supportive services and calls, nutrition, and special needs assistance. These programs have been, and continue to be, their lifeline to lessen isolation and nurture health and hope. Our goal is to bring our communities together at a time when we need each other even more.
